Lisa Montanaro Chosen Moderator of the Popular “Ask the Organizer” Golden Circle Panel Again for the 2013 NAPO Conference
Written by Lisa Montanaro | September 27, 2012

Lisa Montanaro has been asked for the third year in a row to be the Moderator of the popular “Ask the Organizer” Golden Circle Panel for the 2013 National Association of Professional Organizers (NAPO) Conference to be held in New Orleans from April 17-20.

Golden Circle is the crème de la crème of the organizing industry, made up of NAPO members that have been in business for 5 years or more. The Golden Circle panel is made up only of Golden Circle members, and questions will only be permitted by other Golden Circle members, making it truly a panel of, and for, experienced professional organizers. But all NAPO members are invited to attend the live event to hear the panelists’ insight. The event usually draws approximately 600 attendees. This year it will be held on Friday, April 19, 2013 at 9:00 am.

Ms. Montanaro, who was honored to be an Ask the Organizer panelist at the 2010 NAPO Conference, is delighted to be back again as the moderator for the third year in a row. “Moderating the panel at both the 2011 and 2012 NAPO Conferences was an amazing experience,” says Ms. Montanaro. “I am thrilled and honored to be selected again for what I consider to be one of the most important roles of the organizing industry.”

Meet the Author

Helping others be the best versions of themselves gets me jazzed!

I’ve worn many hats in my lifetime—often at the same time—while enjoying fulfilling careers. I’ve been a performer, teacher, sign language instructor, lawyer, career counselor, law professor, coach, consultant, mediator, entrepreneur, speaker, trainer, writer, and author.

I’m an eternal optimist and life-long learner, constantly researching ways to improve personal and professional effectiveness. And it brings me great joy to then pass on the results of that persistent curiosity to my clients and audiences.

Of all the career hats I’ve been privileged to wear, my favorite is owner of this business since 2002. Why? Because it provides me the opportunity to work with wonderful organizational and individual clients. On any given day, I get to connect deeply with audiences, work with dedicated teams, improve workplaces, watch clients have a-ha moments, and know I’ve made a difference in their lives and careers. And that is very satisfying.
